Jeans with asymmetric waist

Jeans designed for women who use wheelchairs are higher at the back of the waist and shorter at the front. They are made of soft, stretchable denim for easier donning and doffing. The zippers at the bottom of the trouser leg allow for easier emptying of a urine bag. 

Hedvig af Ekenstam (SE/SI) graduated in industrial design from the Universityof Konstfack in Stockholm and works as a designer for the Swedish brand Hedra. 

Maja Šimunović (HR) is a graduate of the Faculty of Textile Technologies of the University of Zagreb, and is co-founder of the fashion brand Roba.
